The knowledge I perceived from my courses: ICT (Information
Communication Technology).
Computer came into our society publically in the year 2003.It was the late development in our country but Bhutanese youths are very fast to catch up the generation ahead, generation of IT. With learning there comes a problem which our society at large are concerned about, the concern of right way of using the media.
The challenge of creating a balanced society and right way to use media like internet, television and social networking sites depends on educators. Education is the fundamental agent to change and the agent needs a guide who can address the issue, the issue of media literacy.

Addressing the issues of media will become a part of my responsibilities as I am the IT student and a tutor. To begin, I joined my passionate subject since five years back. When I was introduced to this subject, the situation of mine was no better than the story of nomad lost in the city. However, I could only imagine the scope and opportunities of being IT student. Everybody encouraged me to opt the subject and it mesmerized my whole life but the reality is very different from what I dreamt about.
Here I will talk about my dream of being a good IT tutor by reflecting on the contents I learn during my three years training. I was introduced firstly to the Ms application package. The package includes Ms-Word, Ms- PowerPoint, Ms-Excel, Ms-Publisher, Ms-Access (Database),Ms-Paint and programming language(JavaScript).

If I’m to elaborate little further with each application, once I wrote my letters in paper full of errors but now a days my skill is enhanced because I could send a typed and printed romantic error less words to my friends near and far.  This is simply a piece of a whole, because Ms-Word includes many features like editing, formatting, data interpretation, data security, designing, inserting and deleting documents. These are the easiest and user friendly. Here are some achievement i go after learning ICT after coming to this college in different topics in ICT like:


Ms-Words
I have learn more on Ms-Words compare to school days. it is very simple but it possess many features to have interactive teaching learning.Word Processor is a Software package that enables us to create, edit, print and save documents for future retrieval and reference.



Features
 Most Word Processor available today allows more than just creating and editing documents. They have wide range of other tools and functions, which are used in formatting the documents. The following are the main features of a Word Processor which i learnt: 
  1. Allows alterations to be made easily.
  2. Words and sentences can be inserted, amended or deleted.
  3. Paragraphs or text can be copied /moved throughout the document.
 In addition to that i have learned more on designing certificate and cover pages using Ms-Words features and components. Those are my achievement in Ms-Words during my college days apart from teaching skill i possesses.

Excel
Even if i learn Ms-Excel during school days i learn few about its definition and other elements and features too. But after reaching here at college i learn deep knowledge about Excel strategies to teach to students as well as more other, since it has built in function, result are accurate and different calculation in it. My achievement in Ms-Excel during college days are:
  • Calculation.
  • Making Result.
  • Formulas.
  • Data Gathering.

Publisher
I learn something about publisher compare to past decades.And also i have designed some pages with the help of publisher like calender,poster and Kuensel etc..which i have evidence below.And at the same time i have learned some features of publisher which is very helpful for designing.

Database(MS-Access)
A database can be thought of as a set of logically related files organized to facilitate access by one or more applications programs and to minimize data redundancy. This concept does not imply that all data relating to a company's business should be contained on a single database, but simply that all records in a database should be related and that redundant data should be minimized.Therefore there is many features and components in database to design webpage and also to keep records in any companies.

(HTML) Hyper Text Markup Language)
Markup Language (HTML) is a type of computer language that is used to create pages that can be posted on the Internet or sent via email.Although it might seem complex to many people, it is considered to be a relatively simple language. All text, graphics, and design elements of an HTML page are "tagged" with codes that instruct the web browser or email program how to display those elements.  
HTML tags also provide layout and formatting information so that the web page or email will look as close as possible to the way its designer intended it to look. From this programming language i learned its structures, type of codes, an evolving language and viewing of web pages code's and also how to design web pages using HTML.

JavaScript
What i learn from this language is how it works while we are scripting. And i came to know that it is one of the popular scripting language, lightweight programming language ,usually embedded directly into HTML pages.

Flash 
Flash is popular with web designers as it allows us to create animated websites containing graphics, games, cartoons or movies. It allows for more interactivity. And also it is used to create vector graphics-based animation programs with full-screen navigation interfaces, graphic illustrations, and simple interactivity in an antialiased, resizable file format that is small enough to stream across a normal modem connection.
Camtasia
 Camtasia Studio is software that captures the action and sound from any part of the Windows desktop and saves it to file. This screen-recording file could then be shared on a web site,placed within an angle shell, or even disturbed via e-mail. Camtasia Studio makes it very easy for non-technical people to create training videos, demonstrations,preparations and screen casts.
